Welcome to Caledonia Regional! Mr. Kelly is a Global Minecraft Mentor working with the team in Seattle at Microsoft to bring the game to schools around the world! Today we will try two very awesome experiences as Caledonia Regional students support Bessborough students in a morning of STEMpathy learning. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education with a healthy dose of Empathy education.

An Empathy Education Experience:
Bessborough students will select a Minecraftian family at random that has undergone some hardships in life. They will use Empathy and Creativity to build a new dream home that is ideal for the deserving family. Similar to Home and Garden TV's Extreme Home Makeover program. The Caledonia Regional students will help with ideas, tech support and build support if needed.

Bessborough students will choose one of the following actual Martian locations mapped into Minecraft Education Edition using Satellite Data. They will then create and explain what they feel the ideal Martian dwelling with be for the first wave of the Mars Generation. These Mars terrains are stunning, huge and extremely accurate to within 1 meter.
